Archive: Images from the Middle East: Features: Daily Life: Life Along the Settlement Wall

Life for the Palestinians living near the walls that surround the Israeli settlements is a dangerous one.

They live knowing that their homes can be destroyed at any time to provide security for 5,300 Israelis that live within the settlement block, or that they and their children can be killed at any time if they stray too close to the wall or the army watchtowers that guard it, as the Israeli Army considers the land around the wall to be a secure military zone.
