Egypt 2011-2012: A Year of Revolution: Endgame
Two nights in a row, Thursday February 10th and Friday February 11th, the pro-democracy protesters in Tahrir Square gathered in wait for speeches from the Egyptian regime. On the Thursday, they were crushed when, against all of their hopes and expectations, indeed against everything that the world, including the American president, had told them that they would hear, then-president Hosni Mubarak refused to step down.
Friday was a different story.
